1:00 – 3:00 pm

Have you always wanted to act, but the thought of auditioning makes your heart jump into your throat? It’s understandable. Auditions can be nerve wracking. Especially if you have no idea what to expect when you walk-in.

Ignite! Community Theatre is excited to offer a special, one-afternoon-only, audition technique workshop. This FREE workshop is designed for new actors who have little or no auditioning experience AND for those who just want to hone their skills.

Learn from veteran actors and directors how to survive and thrive at an audition. This friendly and relaxed workshop will teach you what cold reads are and how to be great at them. We’ll cover the do’s-and-don’ts of stage etiquette, give you simple but effective acting strategies, explain the auditioning process from beginning to end, and answer any questions you have.

No registration necessary.
