KAREN BRATHOVDE
“See How They Run” Director KAREN BRATHOVDE is a renaissance woman of the Theatre. She is a retired Drama and English teacher as well as a former long-time co-coordinator of the Inland Northwest Theatre Arts Festival. In addition, she is an actor and director and has been a property mistress, stage manager, producer, and more. Karen also appreciates a good farce! “I love directing and being in them,” Karen admits, “because, while people love comedies, they don't always appreciate how difficult they really are in terms of timing, delivery and character development, not to mention the physical comedy which is crucial in a farce. A performer can really work up a sweat! Working with actors up for a challenge is such fun and this cast doesn’t disappoint!” Karen is having a blast with her cast! We’re sure you will, too.
